FTAIF II – The second Flexam Invest fund strengthens its position in the aviation and services to people sectors
Flexam TAIF II has supported the growth of MBH SAMU, a subsidiary of the HBG group (Mont Blanc Hélicoptères), and already a counterpart of the Flexam TAIF I fund, through the acquisition and leasing of a new Airbus H145 D3 helicopter, which will be delivered in late 2023. The helicopter will be used under a long-term contract with the SAMU de Créteil and the Ile-de-France department. It will be operated, for instance, during the key period of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
This new Airbus H145 D3 is a multipurpose helicopter that can be equipped for emergency medical services, law enforcement missions, aerial work, passenger transport, and offshore operations among others.
This new investment by FTAIF II consolidates the expertise already gained through similar transactions in the Flexam TAIF I fund and also strengthens the business relationship with the HBG group. This investment is in line with the fund’s strategy of supporting the transportation and logistics sectors in services to people and decarbonization.
“True to its strategy, Flexam Invest is pleased to support the growth of French and European companies in mobility and services to people. The second transaction with MBH SAMU confirms the professionalism of the Flexam team and the sustainability of the relationships with its industrial partners.”
Fabrice Fraikin – Managing Partner at Flexam Invest Asset Management.
“The HBG group is delighted to continue its partnership with Flexam, which has been supporting the group’s growth since 2021. Throughout the transaction, the Flexam team has been responsive and professional.”
Renaud Blanc – CEO of the HBG group.
